About Us

American Legion Post 2006 was originally chartered in 2006 in Fruita, Colorado with 22 members. It was then chartered again in 2008. The post meets at the Fruita Civic Center on the second Saturday at 9:00AM. Post 2006 is involved in many community events and fund raising activities for our veterans and their families. Among those is Project Sanctuary.
