May 2    WIB Caffeinated Connections
Join us for Caffeinated Connections, a new Women in Business event! Meet with us at Aspen Street Coffee on May 2nd from 9:00 am to 10:00 am and network with women professionals from across the Grand Valley. This event is free to attend with the option to purchase coffee.

We listened and are now offering different types of meetings at different times of the day! Starting in May, Women in Business meetings will rotate each month starting with Caffeinated Connections, A Place at the Table, and ending with WIB Business After Hours. On May 2nd, the first Caffeinated Connections will be held at Aspen Street Coffee in Fruita, followed by A Place at the Table on June 6th, and round out the schedule with Business After Hours in July. We hope to see you there!

The Coffee Club is a networking group hosted by FWorks, The Fruita Area Chamber of Commerce & The Business Incubator Center on The Third Friday of Every Month, 9:00am in the Fworks meeting room (upstairs of the civic center at 325 E. Aspen Ave.)  Coffee will be provided for all who attend! This month's presentation will be by Chris Muhr, owner of All Metals Welding and Fabrication. Chris' 

 approach to economic development revolves around establishing measurable, clear goals from the start of each relationship and looking for opportunities to add quantifiable, noticeable value to each effort.

Chris sees the economic driver of outdoor recreation removing some of our historical boom/bust industry reliance. Positive impact results from planned trail building have led to proven sustainable green growth creation in several Western Colorado communities with both private and public development. As Chris says "...not a matter of if MTB tourism is coming to your town, but when."

It is important that everyone knows the benefits that are out there, which are constantly changing. Veterans are a huge part of our economy and we hope you'll join us for educational presentations and conversations!
