CSU Extension is hosting an Annie's Project course for ag business risk management in Grand Junction from 11/30-12/2. Annie's Project is a national non-profit that educates and empowers women in agriculture, and Extension staff are trained as Annie's Project facilitators for the 18-hour Annie's Project course. The course covers 5 areas of risk management – financial, human resources, legal, market, and production. The course goal is to support women producers in taking a deeper dive into financial literacy, developing and utilizing financial statements, and making informed decisions to manage risk in their farming and ranching operations. Producers from all types and scales of production are welcome to attend, and you do not have to live in Mesa County to register. Meals included with registration.
