Marketing Manager
The Cycle Effect is a Colorado-based nonprofit that mentors through mountain biking. We serve adventurous 10-18 year old girls who may not have the opportunity to participate in the sport. We believe in the transformational powers of belonging and self-fulfillment and we are looking for a Marketing Manager to join our team!

Position Responsibilities:

Lead all marketing efforts for the organization across all counties (Eagle, Mesa, Routt and Summit)

Responsible for preparation of all developmental mailing designs and virtual fundraising campaign content, working closely with the Development team

Create all public facing collateral for programs and recruitment efforts

Create an overall marketing plan and strategy for the year

Oversee website maintenance and updates, events calendar, blogs

Create email plan, develop content, and create e-blasts through Mailchimp; build a process and manage e-news database

Liaison with media outlets for press releases, advertisements and media coverage, create strategy, budget and monitor effectiveness

Manage social media sites (posts, campaigns, strategy) and Google Analytics
-
Manage any outside vendors/partners for marketing and branding work

Responsible for creating and designing engaging content

Set-up event pages on Facebook, event calendar and provide support for promotional aspects of all events

Spearhead photography and manage photos
-
Create talking points and speeches for events and media coverage

Point person to create and oversee all video production in-house and with videographers

Work with supervisor to manage marketing budget

Design and create all swag, collateral and office supplies, including: brochures, rack cards, stickers, letterhead, posters, envelopes, etc

Oversee inventory and ordering of collateral supplies

Assist with design and layout of jerseys, socks, water bottles, etc

Production of annual report

Oversee fulfillment of sponsorship benefits, including advertising and collateral material, including creation of sponsorship opportunities.

Act as point of contact for community outreach and engagement events throughout the year, including booth logistics and staffing.
Other Responsibilities:

Participate as an active member of the development/marketing team and attend staff meetings and program meetings, when applicable

Special projects when needed and as assigned

Must build relationships with key stakeholders and donors

Assist with other department functions (ie: program practices, administrative tasks, inventory) on an as needed basis
Qualifications:
-
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
-
Ability to influence and engage a wide range of supporters and audiences to build long-term relationships

Exceptional computer skills with Google (Docs, Calendar, Drive, Forms, Admin, AdGrants, etc), Mailchimp, Adobe Photoshop, Canva, Illustrator, Squarespace, social media platforms and software

Professional social media experience required

Must be a team player

Highly organized with a professional demeanor

High level of critical thinking skills and creativity

Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail

Ability to build relationships with various types of people (participants, sponsors, donors, volunteers, board members, etc.)

Willingness to do whatever is needed
Requirements:

Minimum three to five years of experience with demonstrated success in a marketing role
-
Minimum two years management experience preferred

Experience in a nonprofit organization preferred

Bachelor’s degree preferred
-
Valid Driver’s License & clean driving record
-
Preferably resides in Eagle, Routt, Summit or Mesa County

Spanish language skills preferred
-
Must be flexible to work occasional night/weekend events and willingness to travel

Must be able to lift 50lbs

Must pass a background check
Benefits Include:
Salary range: $50,000-60,000
