Coffee & Community Connections
Start your morning with connection and collaboration! The Fruita and Palisade Chambers are coming together once again to bring you Community Over Coffee - a joint networking event where ideas are shared, relationships are built, and local insight is poured (along with the coffee ☕).
This event is done in a roundtable format where we have a speaker at each table providing updates and then rotating to another table until they have had the opportunity to speak to all attendees. Hear from key voices in our region including representatives from Colorado Parks and Wildlife, Mesa County School District 51 Work Based Learning Program, Fruita & Palisade Tourism and City & Town Leadership. It’s your chance to stay in the loop on important community updates, ask questions, and connect with fellow business leaders. This month, we will have speakers paired together highlighting a representative from Fruita and Palisade.
Confirmed Speakers include:
- Dan Caris, Assistant City Manager, City of Fruita
- Deevan Aziz, Director of Community Development, Town of Palisade
- Kathaleen Recker, Business Teacher & Work-Based Learning Coordinator Fruita Monument High School
- Crystal Green, Career Coordinator. Palisade High School
- Johanna van Waveren, Fruita Tourism Advisory Council
- JuliAnn Adams, Palisade Tourism Advisory Board
- Pete Firmin, Park Manager, James M. Robb State PArk
- Kathleen Fischer, Operations Manager and Walt Proulx, General Manager Cameo Shooting & Spots Complex
