Mammoth for Dinner Again? Exploring Paleoindian life in North America
The Grand Junction Chapter presents Dr. John Seebach, Assistant Professor of Archaeology, Colorado Mesa University. Between 13,000 and 8,000 years ago, the western hemisphere was home to people archaeologists know as Paleoindians. Professor Seebach will detail what we know about Paleoindian life and highlight how our romantic ideas about these First Americans is only half the story. CASGJ is new to the Valley. We will offer classes, field trips, and presentations to the public. To learn more about becoming a member of our chapter, please Email: CASGJinfo@gmail.com Or Go To: www.cas-gj.org
