Business Toolbox: Mesa County Workforce Center Internship Presentation

The Mesa County Workforce Center will be giving an overview of the Work Experience Paid Internship Program. This will be offered IN PERSON as well as a virtual join option. A Zoom link will be emailed out the day prior to the event. The Workforce Center will be discussing:

- The WIOA grant funding and it's intended purpose in funding short-term vocational trainings and Work Based Learning trainings for job skills into full-time employment

- The purpose and goal of the Work Experience Internships for both the Intern and the Worksite

- The eligibility criteria that internship candidates have to meet in order to qualify for funding

- The suitability elements for an internship candidate and the Worksite placement
